a piece of heaven
The way you make me
laugh is my salvation
Your smiles warm my heart
in ways I just can't explain.
How did I get so lucky?

You keep me feeling young
and help me forget my pain
My life has so much meaning
because of you
The family I have always longed
for is right here.
How did I get so lucky?

I want to appreciate you more
Every moment, every laugh,
every first, each and every day.
I want to cry less, yell less, complain
less, yearn less and remember
each and every day just how lucky I am.
