Holding.gif (3240 bytes)

Walk out into the light of day
Be afraid of the dark no more
Set your sights on other things
Leave that place, close the door.

Your soul has grown weary
Perhaps lingered there too long

Given too much of your heart
They are playing a forgotten song.

The sad melodies cry out
From that dark and hazy place
Wanting so much to be heard
To awaken a smile upon just one face.

There is so much to love,
Many things for which we strive,
Worthy causes to fight for
And at last a time to die.

There’s a time to hold on
And a time to give up the fight
The torch has been held for all to see
Worry no more, turn out the light.
