Dear God, are you there?
We your children are here
Can you hear us crying Lord?
Or is it that we do not listen when you call?
Why this place so full of pain
For your loved ones to endure?
We immersed with sin and selfishness,
Its a wonder were still here at all.
We your children from which you derive
Swelling pride and disappointments too
So many have failed you, Lord
Is it possible that you can still forgive?
Yet we have learned its never too late
To reconcile your heart and begin anew
Perhaps we are here to strengthen our souls
So someday with You we might forever live.
